DWF completes Glasgow relocation

1st June 2016 | practice management

Legal firm DWF has completed the move of its Glasgow office into new premises at 110 Queen Street, which provide around 90 employees in the city with a new, open-plan working environment.

Located on the corner of Ingram Street at the centre of Glasgow’s business district, 110 Queen Street was developed by BAM Properties, which has developed other significant properties in Scotland including Edinburgh’s Elgin House and Glasgow’s flagship Nike store on Buchanan Street. Completed in June 2015, the building is BREEAM rated excellent. Other tenants that have moved or are moving in include law firm Brodies and accountancy practices Deloitte and Grant Thornton. DWF will lease the fourth floor, giving the firm 18,350 sq ft of open-plan working space.

Paul Pignatelli, executive partner for DWF Glasgow commented: “The growth of our team and transition towards more agile ways of working make our move to 110 Queen Street a rewarding next step for the team.

"We’re able to now have all of our Glasgow-based people working on one single floor, which is a significant change and which will encourage more collaboration amongst colleagues in different teams. The building itself is impressive, with a great location and atmosphere for our people and clients, and gives us the space and flexibility to continue growing our team in the future. It has also been carefully designed to match our other offices across the UK, to give a consistent and welcoming feel, so we’re looking forward to getting everyone settled in and inviting clients to see the new space.”
