Eight promoted at DWF Scottish offices

26th November 2015 | careers

National law firm DWF has announced eight promotions in its Edinburgh and Glasgow offices.

Commercial real estate specialist Robin Watt has been promoted from associate to partner, and commercial lawyer Douglas Jefferies has been promoted from associate to director, strengthening the real estate and corporate and commercial teams.

Six senior solicitors have been advanced to associate: Philip Knight and Emma Forester in commercial litigation, Alicia Ebdy in employment, and Ashleigh Farrell, Andrew Martin and Gregor Duthie in the real estate team.

Wayne Lawrence, executive partner for DWF’s Edinburgh office, said: “We continue to invest in key talent and the recent promotions highlight our commitment to developing our people at all levels of the business. Each promotion recognises the contribution that our people make and is testimony to their dedication and hard work to drive innovation and deliver client service excellence.”

DWF was awarded Best Leadership of Innovation at the 2015 Managing Partners’ Forum Awards, following significant investments in the firm’s organisational structure and people management, including the development of a new performance measurement framework.
