Faculty of Advocates praises Moveable Transactions (Scotland) Bill

The Faculty Of Advocates has given a positive response to the draft Moveable Transactions (Scotland) Bill.

Responding to a consultation by the Scottish Law Commission the Faculty did highlight some specific areas for improvement. However, the Faculty stated: “Generally, the Faculty considers that the Bill is a well-structured and detailed piece of legislative drafting, which will give effect to the Commission’s intentions.”
