Former MMS marketing director joins Lex Mundi team

17th October 2017 | careers

David Sanders, former chief marketing officer of Maclay Murray & Spens (MMS), is to join the business development team of Lex Mundi, the global law firm network of which MMS is a member.

Mr Sanders, whose career has focused on mapping services to meet the demands of international clients, is one of three senior appointments to the network, along with Gordon Vala-Webb (Canada) as senior adviser, technology and innovation, and Jenny Karlsson, who brings both in-house and private practice expertise from positions in London and New York.

Lex Mundi, which has a presence in 100 countries worldwide, recently adopted a new strategic plan that aims to strengthen the competitiveness of its member firms and their ability to collaborate across borders, with technology playing a central role. It includes increased support for member firms in their use of technology and the development of a set of Lex Mundi technology capabilities.

Carl Anduri, President of Lex Mundi, commented: “The new members of our team bring tremendous experience and skillsets to our organisation to strengthen our support for member firms. We are proud to be the first network to have a dedicated professional resource for helping member firms in their technology and innovation initiatives. We are also excited to add very talented professionals to our business development team whose keen understanding of clients and their business challenges can help us marshal the resources of our network and find unique client solutions.”
