Four more solicitors awarded Signet Accreditation

4th February 2016 | careers , education-training

Four up-and-coming solicitors have been awarded the Signet Accreditation, the WS Society’s programme of post-qualification accreditation.

The newly accredited lawyers are Nicola Gray of Mackinnons and Musab Hemsi of Digby Brown, in employment, and Leonie Donald of Aberdein Considine and Neil Morrison of HBJ Gateley, in commercial litigation.

They were presented their awards by the chair of the Signet Accreditation board, Bruce Beveridge WS, at a ceremony held at the Signet Library on 26 January.

Now running for nine years, the accreditation is gained from an assessment that is practically based and is designed to test not only technical legal knowledge in the chosen practice area, but also skills that are vital for overall effectiveness from a client perspective, including communication, commercial awareness, relevant non-legal knowledge and insight.

For further information contact Nicole Hatch WS (t: 0131 220 3249; e: nhatch@wssociety.co.uk).
