Legal firm Harper Macleod has added to its family law team with the recruitment of partner Jenny Smith from Family Law Matters.

Ms Smith, an accredited family law specialist, is dual qualified in Scots and English law and has a particular interest in the financial issues arising from separation and divorce. She is trained in collaborative practice and tutors family law and professional ethics at Strathclyde University. She is also a member of the Family Law Association, Consensus Scotland and the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals.

Alan Susskind, head of family law at Harper Macleod, commented: “We are delighted that Jenny has chosen to join us as we continue to grow our presence across the country. She is very well regarded and brings with her the ideal combination of experience and specialist knowledge to complement our existing team in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Inverness.”

Harper Macleod has a seven-strong family law team led by three partners.
