Harper Macleod swells the numbers in Inverness

15th September 2017 | careers , practice management

Law firm Harper Macleod has announced additions to its Inverness office as it continues to grow its presence in the city.

Corporate lawyer Louise Torr, and dispute resolution solicitor Angus Brown, have relocated from Harper Macleod's offices in the central belt to strengthen the firm's offering in these areas.

The firm recently announced the appointment of newly qualified solicitors Angela Gray and Elizabeth Wilson to work in rural property and residential property respectively.

The moves bring to 20 the solicitor strength in the Inverness office, which was established in 2004, making it one of the largest legal teams in the city, and Harper Macleod has ambitions to grow further. Last year it took over local practice Allen & Shaw.

Chris Kerr, lead partner in Inverness, said: "Last year we doubled our office space in anticipation of growing the team even further and it's great to see this come to fruition. We also now have a dedicated trainee based here. These new faces will add to the full range of specialist advice we can offer, from personal legal services to all types of commercial advice, and they will not be the last – although once again what was extra space is quickly filling up."
