Harper Macleod upgrades in Edinburgh

1st July 2015 | practice management

Harper Macleod has completed a move of its Edinburgh office to new larger premises.

The firm, one of Scotland's largest legal practices, has moved from Melville Street to Citypoint, 65 Haymarket Terrace, tripling its physical capacity in the capital.

Chief executive Martin Darroch said the investment would enhance the future of the firm and the services it delivered for clients. "The Edinburgh and east of Scotland market continues to represent an opportunity for us, as one of the few truly full service law firms in the country", he commented. "Our new office gives us the facilities to provide our quality and value of service to even more clients, including those from outwith the Scottish jurisdiction."

Last month the firm took on an additional two partners in the Edinburgh office, when Jennifer Jack and Sophie Coffey joined the firm. It now has 63 partners and a total headcount of more than 350 in its four offices.

Coinciding with the Edinburgh move, Harper Macleod relaunched its website, now optimised for viewing on mobile devices and tablets, as well desktop computers.
