Interim Deputy Public Guardian named

Scottish Courts & Tribunals Service has announced that Carrie Diggins has taken up the position of Deputy Public Guardian on an interim basis.

Ms Diggins has a long working service with SCTS and most recently has held positions at Falkirk and Stirling sheriff courts.

She will have responsibility for the operation of the guardianship and access to funds teams, and will also take on the role of Deputy Accountant of Court.

Her predecessor Fiona Brown became Public Guardian and Accountant of Court in August, following the retirement of Sandra McDonald.
