Lindsays' associate takes top STEP mark

16th September 2016 | education-training , trusts-asset management

Lynsey Kerr, an associate in law firm Lindsays’ private client team, has won an award as the highest scoring graduate between January and July 2016 in qualifying for the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) Scotland Diploma.

Ms Kerr, who qualified with distinction, is one of the 25 highest-scoring students worldwide, and is in the top 20% of those graduates.

STEP is the worldwide professional body for practitioners advising in the fields of trusts, estates and related issues. The STEP Diploma in Trusts and Estates for Scotland launched in 2007, and since then 261 practitioners have graduated in its courses.

Callum Kennedy, partner and head of the private client team at Lindsays, commented: “We are delighted that Lynsey’s hard work and success is being acknowledged by STEP with this award for her exceptionally high score. Lynsey is widely respected for the excellent service she provides to clients and I am sure that her additional knowledge will only better equip her to help her clients.”
