Lindsays makes two senior Dundee appointments

8th January 2015 | careers

Legal firm Lindsays has made two senior appointments to its Dundee office.

Jennifer Gallagher, an accredited specialist in family law and family mediation and a trained collaborative lawyer, joins as a partner, while Miriam Rennet becomes a director in commercial property.

Ms Gallagher, who joins from Blackadders, has a wide range of experience in family law matters. She sits on the committee of the Family Law Association and is also lead tutor in family law for the Diploma in Legal Practice at the University of Dundee.

Ms Rennet has most recently been a consultant with Bowmans, where she handled the purchase and sale of both residential and commercial properties and the related security work, and is also experienced in acting for both landlords and tenants in commercial leases.

Derek Petrie, partner in Dundee, commented: "These appointments demonstrate the increase in demand that we have seen in the areas of family law and commercial property and we are really pleased that they are joining us at Seabraes.”
