McEwan Fraser branches out into London

16th May 2016 | practice management , property (non-commercial)

Scottish solicitor and estate agency firm McEwan Fraser Legal has moved south of the border by opening in Marble Arch, London.

Having won a series of awards since forming only six years ago, including "Estate Agency of the Year for the whole of the UK" at the Sunday Times Awards, the firm sees London as the natural next step in its growth, giving it a "national footprint" which allows its Scottish clients further access to London and international buyers.

Josh Steeples, a surveyor with McEwan Fraser, has been appointed head of London residential sales, and is looking forward to offering London clients "something completely different from what they are used to".

The service offering includes a part exchange scheme aimed at eliminating the property chain that arises when transactions fall through at a late stage. There will also be extended opening hours so buyers and sellers can speak to bilingual staff until midnight.

Chief executive Ken McEwan commented: “This is a really exciting step for the company and hopefully shows both our clients and employees that we intend to invest and grow further giving confidence and security in the brand."
