Pathway programme sets out Ashurst graduate career options

23rd April 2019 | careers

International law firm Ashurst has launched a new global graduate programme to provide a range of careers for graduates strating the firm.

The Ashurst Advance Pathway Programme will offer a structured career path with a range of potential roles and skills development opportunities, both within the Ashurst Advance global support team and in other areas of the firm, including legal and business services. Within Ashurst Advance, the Pathway options will include legal operations, legal project management, legal technology and legal process improvement.

Each option within the Pathway programme will have its own career development framework, with a number of the pathways providing scope for obtaining recognised professional qualifications. The range of opportunities within the programme will continue to grow and develop over time, as the programme evolves.

Mike Polson, co-head of Ashurst Advance, commented: "The launch of the Ashurst Advance Pathway Programme reflects the growing need for a wider range of roles and skills in the delivery of legal services to our clients. By offering graduates a wide range of alternative career development opportunities, including into a number of 'new law' roles, we ensure we attract and retain the best talent. Individuals are now empowered to take ownership of their development through a structured career path which provides opportunities for them to develop a highly varied and valuable skillset and move into a diverse range of roles across Ashurst."
