Promotions confirmed at Gillespie Macandrew

5th June 2019

Legal firm Gillespie Macandrew has confirmed a number of promotions and hires made over the last 12 months, as the firm continues it growth across its four offices.

In addition to the two previously announced partner promotions of Chris Gibson (corporate) and Lianne Lodge (private client), partners Murray Soutar in Perth and Greg Peebles in Glasgow have taken on leadership roles. In September, Andrew Leslie was promoted to associate and Jamie Reid and Grace Watson to senior solicitors, while earlier this year Sarah Jane Macdonald, Jennifer Munro, and Arlene Taylor were promoted to associate, and Caitlin Keegan was made senior solicitor.

Significant hires in the last year have included Andrew Yule, who joined the commercial property team as legal director, and Heather Clark who joined the dispute resolution team as an associate.

Robert Graham-Campbell, CEO of Gillespie Macandrew, commented: "We have made some strong hires in the last year and continued the success of our training academy with two more internal promotions to partner, demonstrating our commitment to nurturing and developing talent and leadership.

"We’ve had a busy 12 months, including the recent expansion of our Glasgow office into its new location of 163 West George Street, and we’re looking forward to the opportunities this will afford us."
