Richard Murray joins TC Young as partner

Legal firm TC Young has announced that Richard Murray has joined the firm as a partner in its Edinburgh office.

to build the firm’s Private Client offering in the East.

Mr Murray, who has more than 30 years’ experience dealing with private client matters, 22 of those as a solicitor, wlll be tasked with building the firm's private client offering in the east of Scotland. He is involved in all aspects of the preparation of wills and trusts, and is also an expert in the administration of complex executries, issues of succession, and inheritance tax planning. Prior to qualification as a solicitor, he qualified as a Scottish law accountant, a qualification that he still holds. He is current national President of the Society of Law Accountants in Scotland (SOLAS).

Most recently he was a consultant to Connell & Connell WS.

Andrew Cowan, managing partner at TC Young, commented: “We are excited that Richard has joined the firm. He brings with him a wealth of experience and will enhance the provision of high quality, private client services TC Young provide."
