Senior associate joins Gilson Gray in East Lothian

Gilson Gray has appointed Cheryl Edgar as a senior associate in its North Berwick office.

Ms Edgar, who brings more than 20 years’ experience of the local property market, joins from local firm Garden Stirling Burnet, having spent much of her previous career with Anderson Strathern.

The firm took over the North Berwick office of law firm Lindsays in May this year, when the existing team transferred to Gilson Gray. The office is headed by partner Dorothy Kellas, who commented that Ms Edgar is "well-known in the area for her talent and in-depth knowledge of the local property market as well as for her ability to put clients at ease and deliver a personal service".

She added: "Our open doors policy means that people are welcome to pop into our office at any time and having someone of Cheryl’s calibre in the team only strengthens the advice we can offer."
