Stronachs recruits employment partner

27th August 2015 | careers

North-east law firm Stronachs LLP has added to its employment team with the appointment of Anya Duncan as a partner.

Mrs Duncan arrives after spending 12 years at Raeburn Christie Clark & Wallace, where she was made partner in 2013. Her appointment follows that of David Chalmers, who joined also as an employment partner from Raeburns at the end of June.

Eric Gilligan, who leads Stronachs’ employment team, said the appointment further enhanced the firm’s offering to its growing employer client base. “Anya further strengthens the employment partner group at Stronachs – her arrival is timely as we work hard to deliver the focused, commercial, cost-effective advice and support sought by employers in challenging times,” he commented.

Stronachs hopes to make further appointments in the coming months as it pursues its five year growth plan. The firm now has 17 partners and 115 lawyers and legal support staff in its Aberdeen, Inverness and London offices.
