Two partner promotions at MacRoberts

Commercial law firm MacRoberts has promoted two new partners internally in its Banking and Pensions teams.

James Keith started his legal career as a trainee with MacRoberts in 2003, and continued his career at the firm after qualifying in 2005. He now has has vast experience of advising on all aspects of pensions law and employee ownership law to trustees, companies, public sector and third sector organisations. He is also a director of MacRoberts Trustees Ltd, the firm's independent trustee company.

Lisa Maguire has extensive experience acting for lenders and borrowers in a variety of financing transactional work with experience of complex transactions across a range of sectors, with particular focus on corporate banking and acquisition finance.

David Flint has retired from the firm after 40 years, latterly as senior partner.

Neil Kennedy, managing partner at MacRoberts, commented: “We are delighted to have promoted two new partners from within the team at MacRoberts. Both James and Lisa have proven their worth, both in terms of commitment to the business and their clients, and they bring a wealth of talent to the partnership at MacRoberts.
