Andrew Teanby
Andrew is a director in the rural research team, specialising in agricultural, environmental and rural property issues.
He began his rural research career in 2006 following a degree in agriculture; and qualified as a chartered surveyor in 2012, following a Masters in Rural Environment and Land Management.
Andrew focuses on monitoring and considering the impact of policy change on rural businesses. He is responsible for market intelligence covering the UK farmland market, the agricultural rental market and farming economics. He is also the editor of the Savills rural e-newsletter Landscope.
Additionally, he manages an arable farm in Lincolnshire in partnership with his father, and is a keen cyclist.
The wider rural research team has nine members and covers a diverse range of topics including natural capital, biodiversity net gain, viticulture, forestry, controlled environment agriculture, diversification and the farmland market.
