Angela Wipat

Angela was elected as a Council member in June 2025 representing solicitors in Perth.

Angela is the Legal Director at Thorntons Law LLP (Perth office). Angela has practiced exclusively in the field of family law for over 25 years and is an accredited specialist in Family Law.

Angela is proud to be known for their excellent working relationship with colleagues across the Perth area. In their nomination, they describe themselves as approachable and trustworthy, qualities they believe are essential for effective representation.

Angela also has significant experience of committee work and is familiar with the Law Society Committees being a current member of the Child and Family Law Sub-Committee.
