Camilla Wells

Founder of Catch Yourself;
Co-founder of Trauma Informed Law

I am the founder of Catch Yourself (www.catchyourself.co.uk) and the co-founder of Trauma Informed Law (www.traumainformedlaw.co.uk). I am a coach, consultant and trainer across the Legal and TV Industries.

Before becoming a coach, I practised in family and criminal law as a barrister for 22years. It was as a result of becoming aware of the impact upon me of exposure to distress and trauma in my work that I set up Catch Yourself and Trauma Informed Law.

Trauma Informed Law

Rebecca Norris and I are proud to have founded Trauma Informed Law and to be one of the first to bring awareness and training in relation to Trauma Informed Approaches. We write and deliver our training sessions with members of our team, including specialist psychotherapists and a neuroscientist. We believe that in order to safeguard the well-being of lawyers and clients and the integrity of the legal system, it is essential to adopt a trauma-informed approach. Alongside Rebecca, I lead tailored training, consultancy and coaching, equipping professionals with the tools to manage distress and overwhelm, build resilience and work sustainably.

Our clients include leading universities, Inns of Court, Chambers, specialist Bar Associations and legal firms.

Catch Yourself

Together with a specialist team, we offer support to companies and individuals to develop awareness and protection when working with traumatic material, distressed contributors and sensitive issues. Our work includes True Crime and Blue Lights Programmes, Documentaries and series. We offer specialist training and coaching programmes as well as consulting on projects.

Our clients include major broadcasters, networks and production companies.
