Candice Donnelly

Director – Legal (Corporate)
Skyscanner

Candice is Director of Corporate Law at Edinburgh technology company, Skyscanner, where she is responsible for matters ranging from leading strategic transactions and managing Skyscanner’s global governance obligations, to advising on the group’s employee share schemes, intellectual property and real estate. As a member of the legal and company leadership teams, she is involved in developing Skyscanner’s strategy and designing and implementing its operational frameworks. She also supports Skyscanner’s partnership with Codebase and helps counsel its tenants on the diverse legal, governance and investment issues facing start up businesses.

Before Skyscanner, Candice spent over eight years in the strategic projects team at Virgin Money, working on transactions such as the company’s acquisition of Northern Rock, IPO and eventual takeover, and previously was a lawyer in corporate and commercial teams in private practice. She is a trustee and adviser for several local organisations including Dynamic Earth and Trefoil, a charity for young people with additional needs. She also teaches on the diploma at the University of Edinburgh and has been involved in various early-stage career development initiatives including the WS Society’s affiliate membership programme and as a Law Society of Scotland mentor.
