Carole Tomlinson

Partner
Anderson Strathern

Carole leads our private client team. Being dual-qualified in Scotland and in England and Wales and with many years of experience in advising high net worth individuals and landed families on their succession planning, she is perfectly placed to provide advice to clients with assets both north and south of the border.  She also leads the client relationships for a range of families, trusts and large rural estates. As a specialist in trusts, estates and succession law, her aim is always to get to know and understand her clients and thereby help them with the complexity of the issues that they face.

In addition to setting up and administering trusts, Carole has a particular expertise in restructuring and complex trust variations. She is accredited by the Law Society of Scotland as a Specialist in Trusts Law and is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners [STEP].

With a special interest in advising family businesses, Carole leads our dedicated Family Business sector group and holds the STEP Advanced Certificate in Family Business Advising.
