Coral Bain

Coral Bain is an experienced solicitor with expertise in AML and professional regulation. She currently leads the risk & compliance function at Ledingham Chalmers LLP. As a Member of the Law Society’s AML Sub committee, Coral helps shape the Society’s AML policies, drive strategic development, and ensure regulatory compliance across Scotland’s legal profession. She was formerly Head of Professional Practice at the Law Society of Scotland, strengthening professional standards and ethical guidance. She has also undertaken governance and leadership responsibilities as Vice Chair of sportscotland, council member of the General Teaching Council for Scotland, Legal Director of the British Association of Snowsports, and Director of the Scottish Arbitration Centre.
