Dominic Grieve QC
Dominic Grieve QC was Attorney General in the Coalition Government from 2010-2014. In June 2010 he was appointed a Privy Councillor.
As Attorney General Mr Grieve dealt with public law matters in the Supreme Court, European Court of Justice and before the European Court of Human Rights. He is most recently involved in work relating to unlawful detention and breaches of human rights by foreign states and advising on improving governance for a charity with international operations.
Dominic is a visiting professor in Law, Politics and Human Rights at Goldsmiths, University of London, a trustee of the Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies, a member of the Council of Management of the Ditchley Foundation and President of the Franco-British Society.
He is a Bencher of the Middle temple.
