Donald Henderson

Donald Henderson is a career civil servant.  He has worked in diverse policy areas in the UK and overseas, including international relations, economic policy, education and public health.  He became involved in issues around in care abuse in 2016. Alongside responsibilities in relation to the Government’s response to the Scottish Child Abuse Inquiry, he led the Scottish Government’s team which developed the Redress Act and is now responsible for the scheme’s implementation.
