Alisdair MacPherson
Alisdair is a Senior Lecturer in Commercial Law and Director of the Centre for Scots Law at the University of Aberdeen. He researches and teaches the law of debt, insolvency law, property law and related topics, and has published extensively in these areas. He is a qualified solicitor (currently non-practising), a member of the Council of the WS Society and a member of the Law Society of Scotland's Banking, Company and Insolvency Law Sub-Committee. In recent years, Alisdair has been researching and writing about digital assets and was a Scottish Parliament Academic Fellow focused on the Digital Assets (Scotland) Bill.
