Gordy Macdonald

Gordy is a civilian member of staff within Police Scotlands Specialist Crime Division (SCD) Cyber and Fraud Unit (CAFU).

Having joined Grampian Police in 1991, he completed an accomplished role varied career, spanning 30 years of public service, with Police Scotland in 2021. The last four years of his service being dedicated to cybercrime harm prevention.

Following a very short retirement, Gordy returned to his current role, where his focus is supporting elements within the CNI, Business and SME’s with response, resilience, recovery guidance and threat awareness within the cyber sphere.
