Karen Gibbons

Karen is a partner at Harper Macleod LLP, based in Edinburgh. She is a highly respected family lawyer and has practised exclusively in family law for 18 years. She is an Accredited Specialist in Family Law and Family Law Mediation.

Karen has a strong reputation as an experienced and pragmatic practitioner with strong advocacy skills. She is instructed regularly in complex financial provision matters, cohabitant claims and pre-nuptial agreements. Karen is highly regarded in the area of child law and is particularly adept in dealing with high conflict cases. Her expertise in child cases is recognised regularly in her appointment as child welfare reporter by the Sheriff court.
