Karen Stachura

Karen is a solicitor advocate with extended rights of audience in the Supreme Court, Privy Council and the Court of Session. She was admitted as a solicitor in 2000 and has specialised in litigation throughout her legal career. For the last 8 years Karen has predominantly acted for businesses and insurers in commercial and civil litigation, specialising in professional indemnity and personal injury actions in the Court of Session and Sheriff Courts across Scotland.

Karen's professional indemnity practice mainly involves actions against solicitors, medical practitioners and engineers. She has particular experience of acting for the Law Society of Scotland Master Policy insurers. Her personal injury experience spans employers’ liability cases, public liability cases and road traffic claims.
