Katie Sloan

Legal Technologist
Valla

Katie is a qualified solicitor with software development training.

Katie has over a decade of experience in the legal industry, having worked as an employment lawyer in multiple major law firms. After learning to code, Katie joined Valla when the company was a very early stage start-up, and has spent the last three years focusing on product development and operations as Valla has grown and scaled.

Katie has a keen interest in unbundling of legal services, Generative AI and prompt engineering, as well as low and no-code solutions. She is motivated to solve problems and collaborate with tech colleagues to create exceptional user experiences. Her multidisciplinary background allows her to approach challenges with a unique perspective, driving innovation at the intersection of law and technology.
