Laura Connor is head of the Survivors Team at Thompsons Solicitors which specialises in claims for compensation relating to historical abuse. Laura’s two notable cases in this field have been A v Glasgow City Council [2021] CSOH 102 and B&C v Sailors Society [2021] CSOH 62.

Laura is a Law Society of Scotland Accredited Specialist in Personal Injury Law, panel member for the Association of Child Abuse Lawyers and member of the Law Society’s Regulatory and Professional Conduct Committees. Laura was awarded of Lawyer of the Year 2022, an award sponsored by the Law Society, and her team was central to the firm’s dual success of Litigation Team of the Year 2022.
