Lauren Bowie

 Lauren is  a newly qualified solicitor at Pinsent Masons LLP within the Employment & Reward team. She went to a state school in Ayr, and is the first generation of her family to attend university. Initially, Lauren struggled to adjust to studying law at university, and felt like she didn’t belong  because of her background. She is  passionate about improving diversity and social mobility in the legal profession, and created a platform called Legable which hosts a collection of resources (funding, work experience, support) aimed towards helping those from less-advantaged backgrounds access a career in law.
