Melissa Moore

Melissa is dual qualified in England and Wales and South Africa. In her career in commercial property law, she has worked in-house, for local government and as a partner in private practice. Most recently before joining LexisNexis, she was an associate director at Berwin Leighton Paisner which she joined in 2005.

Her particular expertise is in commercial real estate development. She has worked on large scale strategic developments, government funding initiatives, town centre regeneration schemes and private mixed use developments both for public sector and private developers and investment funds. She also has experience across a number of sectors including office, retail, leisure and industrial commercial property. She has been ranked by Legal 500 for her work in local government.

At LexisNexis she contributes to Lexis®PSL Property and Local Government modules with particular focus on property development, real estate finance, corporate real estate transactions and environmental and energy aspects of the built environment. Since 2017 she has been instrumental in developing the Lexis®PSL Scottish property module.
