Scott called to the Bar in 2014 as a Lord Reid and Faculty Scholar and quickly developed a busy and wide-ranging practice with a focus on commercial contract, professional negligence and construction project litigation. He is ranked in Chambers UK Bar.
Scott regularly appears in the Commercial Court, Outer House and Sheriff Court on behalf of banks, contractors, insurers, property companies, professional advisers and insolvency practitioners. He is frequently instructed to draft and present applications in relation to insolvency proceedings in both the Court of Session and Sheriff Court. He has experience of appearing and conducting proceedings in courts and tribunals at all levels.
