Steven McCann
Steven McCann is the founder of MCG Consulting, a UK-based consultancy specialising in workplace mental health, resilience and inclusion. He spent 18 years in the legal profession and now advises global, national and regional law firms, in-house teams and individual lawyers on managing stress, preventing burnout and building high-performing, psychologically safe cultures.
Steven serves on the Steering Committee for This Is Me, the Lord Mayor’s Appeal mental health initiative, alongside organisations such as the Bank of England, PwC and BlackRock. He is also Deputy Chair of ReachOut, a national mentoring charity supporting 11–14 year olds, and regularly volunteers at the Arsenal Foodbank.
His work has been featured by the Legal Services Board, LawCare, the Law Society and The Law Gazette. He recently spoke at the Bank of England’s first session on alcohol awareness in the workplace. Earlier in his career, Steven was lead researcher on Arsène Wenger’s Sunday Times bestselling autobiography My Life in Red and White.
