Steven McCann

Steven McCann is the Founder and Director of MCG Consulting, a specialist consultancy helping law firms, financial institutions and professional bodies build recovery-informed cultures, healthier workplace conversations and sustainable performance.

Following an 18-year career in the legal profession, Steven now works with organisations across the UK and Ireland, helping leaders navigate pressure, strengthen psychological safety and create environments where people can perform at their best while protecting their health and wellbeing.

Steven serves as a magistrate in England and Wales, sits on the Steering Committee for This Is Me, the Lord Mayor’s Appeal mental health initiative, and is Deputy Chair of ReachOut, a national mentoring charity.

His work and writing have been featured by the New Statesman, Financial News, the Legal Services Board, LawCare, the Law Society of Scotland, the Law Society of Ireland and The Law Gazette. He has delivered programmes for organisations including the Bank of England, A&O Shearman and other leading law firms and financial institutions.
