Ally Thomson

Hey Legal

Ally is a non-practising Scottish lawyer who has worked in technology and online projects since 2005. He is the Senior Tutor of the "Introduction to Legal Innovation and Technology" Diploma course at Glasgow University Law School. He was previously a Partner in private practice with over 20 years experience. Ally has been a member of the Law Society of Scotland's Technology Law and Practice committee. Ally has experience of scaling and selling a company, and in 2020 he founded online platform Hey Legal which aims to provide interesting and valuable learning resources for lawyers on key topics. In 2021 Hey Legal won Support Team of the Year in the Scottish Legal Awards.
