Scott Foster
Scott Foster is an independent business-management consultant, focussing on the legal sector, and is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Banking in Scotland.
In a Banking career that spanned 35 years, he managed a wide variety of SME business customers in Edinburgh, Fife & The Borders.
Between 2007 and 2020, he was a Senior Relationship Director with the Royal Bank of Scotland. He had responsibility for looking after the Bank’s Legal & Professional services clients based in Edinburgh. These included Legal practices with revenue streams ranging from c£1m up to £60m+ revenue, and in addition a number of other related regulatory & legal organisations.
He has provided training in the legal sector in governance and financial management, has spoken on strategic & change management at the Law Society of Scotland Conference. He delivers parts of the New partner Practice Management induction training along with the Law Society’s essential financial skills training. He brings this background and experience to the TCPD training courses where he helps lay the foundations for young lawyers to develop and flourish their business skills.
