Legal, social and technological changes are shaping the work of conveyancers across Scotland. We are still in the midst of a housing crisis, which has had a negative impact on the property market. Additionally, there have been several key legislative updates (most notably, concerning reforms to moveable transactions), and fast-moving technological updates which pose risks and opportunities for conveyancers.

Learning outcomes:

  • Gain insight into key legal updates in conveyancing and understand how these are affecting the work of conveyancers.
  • Understand how wider societal changes are impacting conveyancing.
  • Receive practical guidance on client care, to minimise complaints and improve your reputation.
  • Learn how to use technology to work more effectively.
