  4. Support Team of the Year prove that hard work, innovation and research can reap rewards.

2019 Scottish legal award winner blogs Support Team of the Year prove that hard work, innovation and research can reap rewards.

30th July 2019 | Law Society news

Claire Flynn from ESPC gives an insight into what led her team to win prestigious industry award.

ESPC was delighted to be named Support Team of the Year for the second year in a row at the Scottish Legal Awards 2019. This is a fantastic acknowledgement of all the support and services we provide to our member solicitor estate agents.

We feel this award reflects the incredibly hard work of the entire ESPC team last year. In 2018, we implemented several new initiatives in order to provide the best support possible to our member firms. These initiatives ranged from overhauling our technology team to ensure we had a dedicated support team for each part of our business, to our Get More campaign message, highlighting that ESPC firms achieve a higher percentage above Home Report valuation than non-ESPC agents.

Furthermore, we conducted independent market research to provide our agents with an insight into what challenges their clients may be facing when buying or selling a property. We also provided several training opportunities, including a mystery shopper programme for firms to identify their strengths and weaknesses with regards to customer service.

By automating our free valuations service in 2018, our firms now receive valuation leads instantly meaning they can go back to potential customers as soon as possible – leads that they receive at no charge to the firm. We also held first time buyer and home seller prize draws to generate interest from both groups and promote ESPC and our agents to these audiences. In addition, we host events and free advice sessions at our Property Information Centre which provide our agents the opportunity to build relationships with buyers and sellers.

ESPC is thrilled to have been recognised in this category again and we will continue to innovate and develop in order to offer our agents the best support possible.
