The Lord President has issued a practice note, operative from today, applying to all substantive hearings in the Court of Session which are due to take place by videoconference.

It covers the agreeing and lodging of electronic copies of productions, and intimation and attendance of witnesses, as well as duties on parties regarding their electronic equipment and connections (which may be tested in advance).

And at the hearing, "Each party must ensure that the hearing is conducted with the same decorum and respect as a hearing conducted in the courtroom."
