Last days to apply for Society committee places

Solicitors and others interested in becoming involved in the Law Society of Scotland’s law reform work, policy development and regulatory decision making have less than a week left to apply for one of the current committee vacancies.

Twenty three of the Society's committees and accreditation panels are seeking to appoint new solicitor and/or non-solicitor members. There are four convener posts to be filled, including Equalities Law, Employment Law and Rights of Audience.

The Society describes joining a committee as an excellent opportunity to work with members of the legal community and other professions across Scotland and further afield acquiring knowledge and learning new skills.
