Murray Beith Murray promotes two to partner

Edinburgh-based private client firm Murray Beith Murray has promoted two solicitors to partner.

Sophie Napier and Fraser Scott have taken up their new roles from 1 February 2023.

Ms Napier joined the firm in 2011 after qualifying as a solicitor in 2009, and Mr Scott qualified in 2015 after working for the Scottish Government for 10 years.  Both specialise in private client advice within the firm’s Asset Protection group.

Senior partner Ruthven Gemmell commented: “It is always exciting to welcome new partners, and an additional pleasure when they are respected colleagues who have already worked with us for many years.”

Also in the firm, Nicola Roberts has been promoted to associate in the Property group, specialising in rural property and agricultural affairs.
