Rural partner promotion at Gillespie Macandrew
Legal firm Gillespie Macandrew has promoted Lois Newton to partner.
Ms Newton, who joined the firm as a trainee in 2010, manages a wide range of rural matters on behalf of the firm’s farming and landed estate clients and is a member of its sustainability committee.
Chief executive officer Robert Graham-Campbell commented: "We are extremely proud to appoint Lois to our partnership. It is a thoroughly deserved promotion in recognition of her hard work in continuing to develop the reputation of our leading rural team."
Robert Scott-Dempster, head of the Land & Rural Business team, added: “Lois is an exceptional rural lawyer and well-regarded across the sector and her promotion reflects our commitment to investing in and developing our team.”
