Candidates may stand for any of the following positions:

  • Vice President;
  • President (candidate must have completed a full year on the committee to be eligible).

The videos will be shown during the AGM, then a vote will be cast.

The Association welcomes members from all areas of Scotland, from any background and at any level (from student to 10 years' PQE, including advocates). The committee meets monthly (between September and May), though is presently conducting all meetings virtually. It is committed to representing junior lawyers all over Scotland and is seeking motivated individuals who want to facilitate change. If you have any questions about joining the committee, please contact any of SYLA’s current committee members who would be happy to help. Contact details are on its website.

Please email mail@syla.co.uk for a copy of the nomination form.

Dial-in details will be sent to all attendees on 26 May 2022. If you have not received the details by 4pm, please email mail@syla.co.uk.
