Jenny Dickson

Chair & Partner
Morton Fraser

Jenny Dickson is the Chair of independent Scottish law firm Morton Fraser.  She has been at the firm for 14 years, 11 of those as a Partner.  Jenny's legal career started as a trainee at Henderson Boyd Jackson, a firm which went through a number of mergers both during and subsequent to Jenny's time there, and is now part of Addleshaw Goddard.  Jenny was promoted to partner before she had children, taking maternity leave in 2015 and again in 2016.   Shortly after her return to work, she was elected onto the Managing Board of Morton Fraser and in 2021 was elected Chair of the firm.  At Morton Fraser, Jenny is working to ensure that we deliver positive action on diversity and inclusion, supporting the career progression of all - both men and women.  She lives in Edinburgh with her family.
