PEAT 2 Quarterly Performance Reviews (PQPRs)

Trainees are required to complete quarterly reviews with their supervising solicitors and we refer to these as PEAT 2 Quarterly Performance Reviews or PQPRs.

Prior to conducting a PQPR, both trainees and supervising solicitors should read our Guidance Notes for undertaking a PEAT 2 Quarterly Performance Review.  However, some important information from this guidance is noted below:

  • We have developed a template PQPR form, for use by trainees, located below. Once you have had your PQPR meeting, the completed form should be uploaded to your record.
  • Until we have received your training contract back, you will not be able to access the full PEAT 2 section in the Members' login area, to enable you to upload your completed PQPR form.
  • Your supervising solicitor information must be up-to-date. You can find this information in the PEAT 2 section of your Members' login area under the Trainee Data sub-section.
  • The person that you select as your supervising solicitor will normally be the solicitor who will review you. Our system will only allow you to select a solicitor who is based at the same office as you.
  • There is a file size limit of 200kb when uploading PQPRs to your record.  File size will be affected by wordcount and formatting.

If you believe have not yet received your username and password for the members' login area, you should contact legaleduc@lawscot.org.uk. Trainees should receive these shortly after receiving their entrance certificate.  Similarly, if you have any questions about PQPRs  . or problems uploading your review, please contact legaleduc@lawscot.org.uk.
