When negotiating co-parenting arrangements the focus is usually on the financial contributions of the parents, however just as important for co-parents are the non-financial investments they contribute such as time and responsibilities.

This one hour webinar will consider the intricacies of these non-financial investments made by co-parents. Our expert speaker will analyse how co-parenting impacts parental rights and responsibilities, how to negotiate the time and duties being invested by each parent, and the option for co-parenting agreements. Case studies will be used to analyse particular points of contention that may arise such as the parent watching the child instead of a daycare and deciding extracurriculars for the child. Time will be allotted for questions and discussion with the speaker.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Learn the non-financial contributions that co-parents must make in the lives of their children

  • Discover what co-parenting agreements are and how they can be used to help navigate co-parenting situations

  • Use case studies to analyse points of contention that may arise in negotiating the rights and responsibilities of the parents in co-parenting arrangements
