1 hour verifiable CPD

In September 2025 a British judge publicly announced his use of AI for the first time when creating a judgement for a case. Even before this though AI has been integrating into the case management, legal research, and drafting that occur daily.

During this one-hour webinar our expert speaker will lay out exactly how AI is being used in our courtrooms and safe procedures in which practitioners can continue to do so. Guidelines for use by the government will be analysed alongside use cases from other countries. Time will be allocated for questions and discussion with the speaker.

Learning outcomes:

  • Recognise where AI appears in the litigation lifecycle and courtrooms in the UK
  • Learn the guidelines and values that currently exist to help govern the use of AI in courtrooms
  • Discover how other countries are also implementing AI in their legal systems and learn from the pros and cons of their applications
